Canada ISED Certification Fee Standards - Change Notice
Since 2016, IC has officially changed its name to Canada's Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development.
The original wireless device IC number was renamed as ISED Number, but its representation on the label remains the same as IC: XXXXX YYYYYYYYYY.
According to the ISED notification on July 4th:
The Canadian ISED wireless device registration fee of $50/Listing will be replaced by the device registration fee starting from September 1, 2023. The fee is divided into a new application registration (including New single and New family applications) fee of $750 and a change application registration (including C1PC, C2PC, C3PC, C4PC, Multiple Listing, and Transfer of Certificate) fee of $375.
Regarding the details of Canada's ISED certification:
1、 Authentication method
1. Self verification can be used, and there are two forms of Certification certification.
Label requirements:
① Certificate: IC ID: CN (Company Number, up to 6 digits)
UPN (Unique Product Number, up to 8 digits).
② Self verification: CAN ICES-003 (*)/NMB-003 (*), * number * * A or B,
But it will not be written at the same time. If the product meets the B-class limit, use B, and if it meets the A-class limit, use A.
2、 Instructions for ID application
1. Must have Canadian * * address information.
2. The label should include the following information (manufacturer's name or trademark, model name, IC ID number).
