EU wireless command RED Update Supplement
Supplement to the EU Wireless Directive RED update
The EU Directive R & TTE Directive No. 1995/5 / EC is updated to 2014/53 / EU
Effective April 20, 2016
To understand the difference between RED and R & TTE
First must know how to define Manufacturer!
With the industrial structure of the ever-changing changes, R & TTE Directive development has been more than 20 years, has not applied to many products now. So in the new EU wireless command RED available, provides the manufacturer is Certificate holder certificate owner, only the manufacturer can sign the summer Do not meet the DoC letter!
Most of the DoC customers are directly printed in the Users Manual inside, for RED, the definition of Manufacturer is:
A. Brand Owner, that is, brands, such as A company, B company, C company
B. ODM, that is, for the brand design and manufacturing products manufacturers
For example, D company will design a company with the printer, D company is ODM! Please pay special attention to the simple manufacturing called OEM is not called ODM, (such as E company for the company A, E company is only Factory is not a manufacturer). So E company can not sign DoC, nor can Certificate holder, because E is not RED defined Manufacturer.
When the brand is commissioned ODM design and manufacturing products, they will coordinate who will be when the manufacturers, manufacturers can also be ODM. When this is the case, the manufacturer's data appears on the RED application and the RED certificate.
Label Information is different from R & TTE Directive

A. No need to print NB number, unless the manufacturer has RED Annex IV whole factory certification
B. Manufacturer name & address, if printed on the label can be printed on the Users manual with Package
