ALPHA has obtained the qualification of two product testing and filing laboratories authorized by China Energy Efficiency Labeling Network
Computer monitors have been included in the fourth batch of energy efficiency labeling product catalog, and the implementation rules for energy efficiency labeling of computer monitors have been released.
Revision of Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Levels Standards for Computer Displays:
The standard "GB 21520-2015 Minimum Energy Efficiency Values and Energy Efficiency Grades for Computer Monitors" is a revision of the "GB 21520-2008 Minimum Energy Efficiency Values and Energy Efficiency Grades for Computer Monitors". It was approved and released by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standards Commission on September 18, 2015, and is planned to be implemented on October 1, 2016. The project aims to help improve consumers' awareness and importance of energy conservation, while providing a basis for consumers to choose displays with higher energy efficiency, Thus achieving the goal of energy conservation and emission reduction.
GB28380-2012 "Minimum Energy Efficiency Values and Energy Efficiency Grades for Microcomputers" was released on May 11, 2012 and implemented on September 1, 2012. It specifies the energy efficiency limit values, energy-saving evaluation values, test methods, and inspection rules for desktop microcomputers, integrated desktop microcomputers with display functions (referred to as all-in-one computers), and portable computers (collectively referred to as microcomputers). After the release and implementation of this standard, it will further improve the energy efficiency standard system for office products, reduce energy consumption of office equipment, and make positive contributions to energy conservation and emission reduction work.
Consumers around the world are turning to energy-efficient products to save money and reduce their impact on the environment. Manufacturers can meet this growing demand by incorporating energy efficiency into product design.

The China Energy Efficiency Label is an information label that represents performance indicators such as the energy efficiency level of energy consuming products. The name of the energy efficiency label is "China Energy Label". It can be marked on the energy consuming product or its minimum packaging, product packaging, instruction manual, or online trading product information display homepage.
The newly revised computer monitor energy efficiency standard divides products into three energy efficiency levels from high to low:
Level 1 is the most advanced and efficient product;
Level 2 is the energy-saving evaluation value, which is the basis for conducting energy-saving product certification;
Level 3 is the energy efficiency limit, and products below this level are considered obsolete and prohibited from production and sales.
The new standard uses three indicators, including display energy efficiency, power in off state, and power in sleep state, to comprehensively evaluate energy consumption levels.
ALPHA has laboratory qualifications for GB 21520-2015 "Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Grades for Monitors" and GB 28380-2012 "Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Grades for Microcomputers". It can provide testing and technical support services for enterprises, assist in the development of new products, and provide safety protection for consumers.
