2023-06-27 17:22:21
The official website of the European Commission has released a recent progress on the proposal process for RoHS Directive restricted substances, which proposes adding tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBP-A) and medium chain chlorinated paraffins (MCCPs) to the list of restricted substances.
For example, Shi Jian will be approved in the fourth quarter of 2023, and a revised draft will be issued. The final control requirements will be based on the European Commission's decision to limit the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and polybromine in new electronic and electrical equipment products launched on the market from July 1, 2006
Six harmful substances, including phenylether (PBDE).
The RoHS2.0 testing 2011/65/FU directive was implemented from January 3, 2013. The 2011/65/C directive tested substances for RoHS.6, including lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), hexavalent chromium (Cr6+), polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs); Four priority evaluation substances are proposed to be added: dibutyl phthalate (DBP), benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), 2-hexyl hexyl phthalate (DEHP), and diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP)
