No.2 South Africa issued a qualification procedure for electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic compatibility (EMI / C)
On September 22, 2017, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) and the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) issued a notice through the WTO on compliance with electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic compatibility (EMI / C) conformity assessment procedures.
(EMI / C) conformity assessment procedures for the purpose, plan, experimental verification procedures, experimental flow chart, experimental test report and other content to do a detailed provision for the entry into the South African market, electrical and electronic equipment to provide the performance and Quality assurance. This is aimed at protecting the public network, protecting the lives of consumers, avoiding harmful interference and protecting the environment.
The deadline for notification is 60 days after the publication of the notification.
No.3 EU Announces Classification of Wireless Charging Board and LED Dental Surgery Lamps
The European Union Official Gazette promulgated a new merger (CN) product classification regulations in August 2017, involving wireless charging boards and LED dental lights, which have an impact on tariffs and descriptions of the products concerned.
(1) The Official Gazette of the European Union published the EC Regulation No. 2017/1465 on August 12, 2017, involving a wireless charging board designed for wireless charging of the instrument. The equipment should not be included under sub-item 8504 50. In addition, the equipment should not be classified under CN number 8504 40 30. In accordance with Article 3 (c) of the General Interpretation Rules, the wireless charging board shall be classified as CN-type 8504 40 90 for other electrostatic converters and shall be levied at a 2.5% agreement rate.
(2) The Official Gazette of the European Union published the EC Regulation No. 2017/1476 on 17 August 2017, which deals with LED dental lights designed to illuminate the mouth during dental treatment. The dental lamp has the characteristics and design of the project 9405 lamp / lighting fixture, which covers special lighting and lighting accessories made of any material and using any light source. As the dental lamp contains different materials, it should be classified as CN No. 9405 40 99 under other materials (except plastic) made of other electric lamps and lighting devices, according to 2.7% of the treaty rate of tariffs.
The above regulations take effect on the 20th day after the publication of the Official Journal of the European Union. If the classification of the Merger Name Products issued by the Customs and Excise Department of the Member States of the European Union does not comply with the relevant regulations, it will remain valid for 3 months after the commencement of the Regulation.
No.4 United States issued a proposal on the effectiveness of computer monitors and logo display devices
September 15, 2017, the US Department of Energy (DOE) issued a notice on the computer monitor and logo display device efficacy proposal.
The proposal on the computer and computer display requirements, signs, battery charging system, etc. made a detailed requirement, but also on data storage and memory continuity and other aspects of the strict requirements. No.5 Taiwan BSMI official announcement to amend the electrical appliances and other products with the validity period and verification standards
According to the BSMI amendment announcement, BSMI will amend the electrical switch and other 16 products to implement voluntary product verification certificate validity period and verification criteria. Please refer to the notice, the effective date of July 1, 2019.
According to BSMI notice notice, BSMI will change the gas water heater with the exhaust pipe of the relevant inspection requirements. Please refer to the notification. The plan is effective on July 1, 2018.
According to the BSMI amendment announcement, BSMI will be amended to test the 3C secondary lithium power supply and 3C secondary lithium single battery product inspection requirements. Please refer to the notice, the effective date of July 11, 2017.
